Product Description
Tank Visual Inspection Light
This is our 12 volt tank inspection light. Most lights you see on the market are rather dull with only 2 watts of power. This version uses a 50 watt led bulb. Now we are not making a fancy light here only a good inexpensive one. The light uses the 12 volt 50 watt LED bulb. The reason for the 50 watt bulb is that the light illuminates all the nooks and pits of the tank. This way you can see if the tank is truly safe or not. The low powered lights on the market will not do this. Why 12 volt? Two reasons one the bulbs are inexpensive and the most important if you break a bulb you do not shock yourself with 110 volts when your eye is against the tank doing the visual and yes I am speaking from experience here!

Great Light for the Price

This inspection light is very compact and easy to use and emits much more light than I expected! As the headline says, great light, especially for such a low price.

Tank Inspection Light

This LED light is GREAT. Out performs my industry inspection light. I can strongly recommend. I VIS/VIP'd 10 tanks the first day- it works great. I placed an inline on/off switch- much easier than plugging in.

Great Value for VIP Tank Light

This light is a great value for the cost versus the functionality. The bulb is bright and easily replaceable. All I added was a wooden dowel rod to the cord to make it more controllable.

A great no frills light that does what it says; extremely bright and allows for close Inspection of specific areas due the pinpoint bulb and flexible cord

three stars for now

Light came in, plugged in, turned on then faded out. Not sure what is exactly happening here, but the light is causing an amp draw too high for the battery charger. John said he's sending a new one, so hopefully that will work as planned, wish it was an LED, but it might not have been enough resistance to keep the charger on. Will post updated review here when the new one comes in. Might wire in an on/off switch, but that's just nitpicking to keep the light cooler when doing multiple tanks. I usually make a day out of vipping all of my tanks, so with 10 tanks going through inspection it takes a little while

Economical and Bright

Great light for the price, illuminates the tank. Only wish it had an on/off switch, but then again it wouldn't be as economically priced.
