  This is our pony mounting system area. There are a couple of different styles that are common.  Please checkout the information below.     Bag Style This version has been around for a long time.  It works fine when it comes to smaller tanks like a 6 cubic foot or a 13 cubic foot but fails miserably with larger tanks.  The reason it fails is the tank wobbles from being held only by a Velcro piece.    Only Bracket Needed This is the most popular version.  As the name states this one requires only one bracket.  This version has a hard mount that you hose clamp to your pony bottle and then another piece that goes are one of your tank cam bands.  There are different styles with quick releases and some that the cam band just slides through.  If you want more security on larger tanks you can of course use a bracket on each cam band.  This is actually pretty easy if you have the remora style by Dive Rite.   Bracket for Every Tank This is the popular Reef Scuba and a couple of other vendor’s one.  This style uses hose clamps on both your main tanks and your pony.  This type tends to be the secure but the big what if is the price.  The more tanks you get the more money it costs you as you need a bracket for each tank otherwise you have to keep taking off hose clamps which is a pain in the ass. Most people are best served with the “Only One Bracket Needed” version.
