Side Handle Reels

  Side Handle Reels   This is our primary reel Section. There are numerous types of reels out there. We carry most of the manufacturer’s reels. The Side Handle reels are gaining in popularity all the time. Side handle reels allow you to put a Goodman handle on the same hand. When you wind the reel in the light stays nice and straight and pointed in the right direction.   Reel Spool Material Versions: ABS Version   These are the plastic reels. They have a plastic spool. The most common of these is the Dive Rite   Delrin Version This is a much tougher material. It is very robust and can even absorb impacts better than other reels on the market. The most common of these are the Salvos.   Aluminum Version These are also very tough. The only downside to the aluminum is that they can corrode in saltwater if you beat them up. The most common are the Reef Scubas.
