A lightweight design that fits comfortably on a diver with a shorter torso.
The Stainless Steel XT Backplate just got shorter and lighter. This iteration is ideal for many women or divers with a shorter torso. This short backplate’s overall length is 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) less than the standard size. Weighing in at only 2.5 pounds, this light backplate is perfect for traveling or cutting down on weight. Laser cutting, CNC deburring, and electropolishing ensure smooth edges and rounded corners to prevent snagging or discomfort.

- When traveling with a rigid backplate, be sure to disassemble your plate /harness from your wing and store them separately during travel. This will reduce the possibility of your plate impacting and damaging your wing or other gear caused by objects shifting.
- The 316L grade of stainless steel is rust resistant grade of stainless, however rinsing with freshwater after saltwater use is still recommended.
