I bought this, with an inflator O-ring kit, to repair a leaky inflator valve that hasn't been opened in years - it was frozen in place and took a lot of gentle tapping to get it loose.
I think this might be best for a diver who wants to pull out the valve every-so-often, for inspection and re-greasing. (Which is a good idea that I plan to follow in the future.)
