Apeks Mouthpiece with Bite Tabs This is the standard Apeks Mouthpiece. The Apeks mouthpiece has large bite tabs in the shape of a “V”. This shape keeps the regulator from moving in your mouth with minimum biting.

Perfect mouthpiece

I love this. The bite tabs are very non-standard, and work much better for me than the 25 other mouthpieces I've tried. Very little bite pressure is required to keep the mouthpiece in place even while turning your head. And the amount of rubber inside your teeth is minimized. (I gag on too much.)
