John’s Quick Tips; What size is mine?
There are two different size first stage low pressure sizes.
3/8
This is the most common it is on 99 percent of the regulators out there.This size is smaller than your high pressure port plug so if you are not sure you can pull out a port plug and make sure the size in the reg is smaller.
½
This is not seen much at all anymore.Dacor was the only one that used it heavily years ago, most Dacors now are 3/8. You will sometimes see one low pressure port larger than the others this is the ½ one.If you want an adapter for this one make sure to order ½. This size is larger than your high pressure port plug so if you are not sure you can pull out a port plug and make sure the size in the reg is larger.
