Things that make a good tip;
Hardened Steel
This is only used by a couple of vendors. You pay a little more money but you get a tip that holds up well to abuse and keeps a nice sharp edge.
Wing Holders
This is the little cup you see on behind the wings. The cup allows you to hook the wings into it once you have shot a fish. This way it is easier to pull the shaft back though the fish.
Rotating Tip Shaft
This is nice feature on tips. The rotating tip keeps the fish from unscrewing off the spear shaft. This way you do not loose tips.
