High Pressure Hoses
Northeast Scuba Supply, Inc. stocks many different sizes of high pressure hoses. We have everything from 6 inch ones to 6 foot ones for rebreather hose routing. Johns Words of Wisdom: Hose is leaking.
There are four parts on a Drysuit hose that can fail below is listed the problem and remedies
1. Leaking from Rubber material
(Order new hose)
2. Leaking from Crimp Area –
(Order Hose) – in a pinch at a dive site you can clamp the crimp with a pair of pliers and it will usually stop the leaking. This is only temporary to get you and your buddy back in the water
3. Leaking from Gauge Area
If you hose is leaking from the bottom area of the gauge. This is usually the o-rings. Inside there are two o-rings. They both will need to be changed and lubricated. The o-ring size is 003. Wait till you try and change these ones, they are super small make sure you have spares as they are easy to loose
4. O-rings needed for repairs
