Explorer Reels
Explorer Reels
This is our Explorer Reel section. Explorer reels hold a ton of line. They are commonly used for laying new cave line and for mapping. You never know when you are going to get lost underwater or need to shoot a lift bag to the surface.
Reel Spool Material Versions:
ABS Version
These are the plastic reels. They have a plastic spool. The most common of these is the Dive Rite
Delrin Version
This is a much tougher material. It is very robust and can even absorb impacts better than other reels on the market. The most common of these are the Salvos.
Aluminum Version
These are also very tough. The only downside to the aluminum is that they can corrode in saltwater if you beat them up. The most common are the Reef Scubas.
