The CCR EXP is designed for the O2ptima or any rebreather diver looking to streamline rebreather hoses. The CCR EXP touts an offset inflator hose that lies just to the outside of chest-mounted counterlungs. The open mid-section allows rebreather hoses to run through the middle of the wing, freeing up space behind the diver's head. This also means airflow is no longer restricted at the top of the wing due to hoses pressing down over the wing.
The CCR EXP is an adjustable lift wing, sporting an optional Gusset Control System cord that can be used to further streamline the wing such as when carrying small bailout bottles . The GCS is not a bungee wing because it does not restrict air flow; instead the GCS promotes added streamlining and buoyancy control, yet allows the wing to inflate to its full capacity.
The CCR EXP can be a single bladder (BC4800) or dual bladder (BC4350-dual) wing. Its unique bladder design allows a single bladder CCR EXP to be altered to become a dual bladder wing at a later date, if desired.
At full capacity, the CCR EXP offers 49 lbs/22 kg of lift and is designed for use with the TransPac, TransPlate or metal backplates. Made in the U.S.A.
Please note: The CCR EXP is designed for use with a rebreather or double tanks and is not for use with single tanks.
Tech Specs:
- Black outer bag is made of 1680 denier ballistic nylon that resists tears and abrasion
- Inner bladder constructed of thick, 15-mil polyether aromatic polyurethane is resistant to abrasion and chemicals, has excellent strength and will resist the growth of microorganisms
- Urethane flanges are welded in place, which make it easy to switch out corrugated hoses and over pressurization valves without tools
- Comes equipped with a 16-inch elbow inflator and along with a 27-inch low-pressure inflation hose. Other hoses lengths are available upon request.
- Two sets of two marine-grade 316 stainless steel grommet mounting holes are used to attach wing to harness and/or to double tanks and set diver trim
