A mixed gas computer with full decompression capabilities that monitors seven different gas mixes including helium, nitrogen and oxygen. Uses a modified Bühlmann ZH-L16 algorithm with 75/95, 40/100 and 30/75 gradient factors. Optional custom gradient feature is available as an upgrade. During a decompression dive, the NiTek X provides real time decompression information based on diver pre-set gas mixes. Gases can also be changed, if necessary, during the dive. Simple to program, the NiTek X has intuitive menus that are easy to understand without complex instructions. A lightweight frame along with a large, 2.7-inch (6.85 cm) screen makes it easy to keep track of the dive plan at a glance. The NiTek X displays data in both imperial and metric measurements. Hi All, well I thought I would write a little something about what has been going on here at Northeast Scuba Supply, Inc. We have been adding items from many different vendors, bringing in new products that I never thought we would carry in stock and redoing the whole website. Below is a run down of some of the things going on and what is coming up.

Inventory
Ok, I do not want to sound like an ass here or look how wonderful we are but I realized the other day that the employees are now using the ceiling even more than before to display inventory. We have right now as we speak a little under half a million in inventory. This is real dive gear, canister lights, drysuits, regulators, tanks, etc. – NOT Tee shirts.

Website update
We are going to online checkout on the web. The website is www.northeastscubasupply.com/store we have a little under 900 items up right now on the web. The site has tips on most of the main pages everything from DIY, to repairs to maintenance. The website grows everyday by about 40 items so please check back.

Tuna Seazure Now up North
The Tuna Seazure will be staying in Brielle, NJ for the 2009 season. The boat is located at 720 Ashley Ave Brielle, NJ behind the shipwreck grill. We have planed our normal dives plus we will be adding Weeknight dives and even some more weekend afternoon dives. The schedule is up at http://northeastscubasupply.com/schedule2009.html

Salvo in Stock
This is one of those things that really have filled out on in-store inventory. We have most of the Salvo items in the store. Their lights are something you just got to see to believe. There really are too many items to list what we got in of Salvo’s it is that much!!! The products are all super high quality.

Deep Sea Supply in Stock
We brought these in a little earlier but they are definitely worth posting again. We are carrying all the main products; wings, wrist mounts, finger spools, hose hats, you name it. Deep Sea Supply is known for their mounts but you also have to see their S/S finger spools they are a real work of art.

Lighting
This is one of those things that have been evolving so quickly that it has been hard to keep up with. We are stocking in-store all the Dive Rite Canister lights, Most of the Salvo Canister lights, the Salvo Back up lights and the OxyCheq Backup lights.

Blending Whips and Accessories
We have updated our Oxygen blending area. We have 14 different whips in stock. There are oxygen whips, argon whips and transfill whips. We have also added a ton of new adapters and specialty items.

Wings
This is another area that just is getting out of hand. We now stock all the Dive Rite Wings, OxyCheq Wings, Agir Brock Wings, Deep Sea Supply Wings, Apeks Wings and OMS Wings. There are a total of 40 different wings on the wall and I am not counting color as a different wing.

Sidemount
This is another item that I never thought we would carry. We stock all the bungees, wings, harnesses, chokers, plates and other items

Free Diving Section
We have started to bring more and more of these items in. We now stock camouflage wetsuits and gloves, low profile inexpensive masks, specialty and plain jane snorkels along with a complement of spearguns.
